Is it painful?
This varies from person to person and their pain tolerance; some level of discomfort is normal. I use two different strong topical anesthetics during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible.
HOW IS THE shape and color DECIDED?
I will draw on a suggested shape for you, then we will work together, adjusting to your preference. Measurements are also taken to insure symmetry. I have a large selection of pigments that I will pick from keeping in mind your complexion and goals.
WHAT COULD AFFECT MY mICROBLADING RESULTS OR MAKE ME NOT A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR COSMETIC TATTOOING?
Cosmetic tattoos might not be for you if you,
Have mature skin.
Skin thins as it ages and is very delicate, mature skin can be difficult to work on and won’t heal with desired results.
Are currently pregnant or nursing.
Have been undergoing chemotherapy within the last year.
Those who are prone to keloid scaring.
Have sun damaged skin.
Skin should be healthy and free of any irritations. Bleeding during the treatment can affect results, please avoid any blood thinning medications 72 hours before our appointment. Any botox or other injectables, lasers, peels and waxing treatments should take place no sooner than two weeks before your appointment. All clients must be off accutane for at least one year and and take a break from all retinoids, acids and vitamin c serums for two weeks.
Results vary from person to person: poor aftercare, skin type, health and lifestyle may affect your outcome. Results are never guaranteed, please keep this in mind before you decide to get tattooed.
DO I really NEED TWO APPOINTMENTS?
The touch up appointment is necessary to visibly assess how your color and shape looks healed and make any changes. This gives us the opportunity to fine tune the design and touch up light areas. Retention can vary from person to person, though most clients only need two appointments some will need an additional appointment to achieve their desired results.
Should I come to my appointment with my makeup how I typically wear it?
No, this isn’t necessary unless you are particularly attached to the way you do your makeup and would like me to recreate it.
I’ve had this done before. WILL YOU do my touch up?
I take touch ups on other tattooers work and corrections on a case by case basis, you must be pre approved before booking. If you have either of these please contact me.
HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED touch ups?
Most clients come in once every 24-36 months for touch ups and maintenance. Your skin type, lifestyle, beauty regimen and sun exposure can greatly effect your long term retention.
How do I book an appointment with you?
I only take a limited number of new clients each month, this insures I have time set aside for returning clients and annual touch ups.
I open my calendar once a month, if you’d like to be added to my waitlist then please head to my booking page.
